Tips: How to become an excellent student

1. Concentrate on your studies.

The most important thing you can do to become an excellent student is to concentrate on your studies. What does this concentration entail? Firstly, it is focusing your efforts on academic affairs, i.e. you should always prioritize your studies.

What activity should you choose if you want to become an excellent student? You probably thought that of course you should concentrate on writing your internship report, because the grade depends on it, etc.?

No! You do not always have to choose the most obvious! And, if this trip is organized by the teacher to whom you have to pass the same report? So we advise you to always be aware of university affairs in order to make the right decisions. Concentrating on your studies is good, but building a long-term strategy for getting excellent grades is more important.

2. get along with your professors.

No one disputes that sometimes there are situations when either the teacher is talking nonsense, or the theme of the class is not very interesting. What to do in this case?

First of all, you should not show with all your sight that you are sick of what is happening in the class/pair. Teachers see everything perfectly well and are sure to notice your gloomy, droopy face. By doing so, you will be saying to your instructor: "I don't give a damn about what you dictate and tell. Let's knock it off, or I'm already hungry.

Your facial expression and lethargy will do the opposite to your teacher. Perhaps without even realizing with his mind, the teacher will try to get you to be more active. To do this, he may ask some question about the topic of the lesson. He will do this only because he is, to put it simply, offended and annoyed that you treat his class this way. Naturally, you won't be able to answer his question because you've been floating around in the clouds waiting for this tedious lesson to be over.

It is clear that if you want to become an excellent student, now you will feel uncomfortable with the fact that you could not answer the teacher's question. This situation will cause you internal tension and resentment, which for no reason should not show outside. Learn to restrain yourself in the most extreme situations.

Try not to pick on the teacher's way of presenting the material. Believe me, it is almost impossible to change a habit that has developed over several years of teaching experience. So if you suddenly start to pick on your teacher, you'll only create problems for yourself on the spot, while achieving nothing for yourself. So, why do you need all this extra hassle? :)

3. Do not think that you really know everything better than anyone else.

If a person carries the title of "honors student," it does not mean that this person knows more than anyone else in all the subjects taught. Rather, it means that this person knows how to make sure that his or her end result is always rated "excellent. Believe me, this is a whole art, which is why everyone is not given to be an excellent student.

If you have difficulties in any subject - that's very good! Yes, it's great! So you're an ordinary person, not a robot from another planet. The fact is that no one person in the world can be the best in all subjects. There is always some skew either in the humanities (a person knows and understands social studies, history, sociology, etc. better), or in the technical side (a person knows computer science, physics, etc. better).

So, in those cases where you face difficulties in any subject, then enlist the help of others. If you want to become an excellent student, your task is not to know absolutely everything in all subjects (believe me - it's unrealistic), and to find solutions to difficult situations and be on top in any case. It is such people (and not, sorry "nerds") always achieve their goals in life and live happily ever after.

Yes, even the same "nerds" always concentrate on any one sphere and "dig" deep into it, thus, also achieving their goals, but already on a scientific platform.

So to summarize: In order to become an excellent student does not need to know absolutely everything in the studied subjects. Do not be shy, ask for help from your friends - they will help you. That's why, by the way, it is also important not to be conceited that you learn better than others.

People can't stand it when someone from their environment starts bragging about their grades. If you do not have such a habit (and, thank God!), then you almost never meet rejection from your classmates / classmates to help you on any issue.
